Installation Procedure

  1. With the aid of an assistant position the instrument panel assembly into the vehicle.
  2. Install the instrument panel wiring harness assembly to its in vehicle position as it was noted in the removal procedure.

    Install the instrument panel assembly (1).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Install and tighten the instrument panel assembly bolts (3) to 2.5N.m (22 lb in).

  5. Install and tighten the instrument panel airbag module bolts (2) to 10N.m (89 lb in).
  6. Install and tighten the instrument panel compartment door latch striker bolt (1) to 9N.m (80 lb in).

    Install and tighten the instrument panel assembly bolts (1) to 2.5N.m (22 lb in).

    Install and tighten the instrument panel assembly bolts (1) to 2.5N.m (22 lb in).

  9. Connect the electrical connectors.
  10. Instrument Panel Lower Intermediate Reinforcement Replacement

  12. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Replacement - Passenger Side
  13. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Replacement - Driver Side
  14. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Pad Cover Replacement 
  15. Heater and Air Conditioning Control with Cable Control Replacement
  16. Radio Replacement (IOR)
  17. Install the sun load temperature sensor and bezel. Sun Load Temperature Sensor Replacement
  18. Instrument Cluster Replacement
  19. Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement
  20. Steering Column Upper Trim Cover Replacement
  21. Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement 
  22. Front Floor Console Replacement 
  23. Windshield Side Garnish Molding Replacement
