Using Scan Tool

  1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located under driver's side of instrument panel. See Figure. Enter into and record all ATC system related DTCs stored in Body Control Module (BCM).
  2. Next, check for ATC system related DTCs stored in Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Go to appropriate test procedure for displayed PCM DTCs. See DTC/FAULT MESSAGE DIAGNOSTIC TESTS  table under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
