Chime Test 9B - Chime Inoperative With Turn Signal On

NOTE: Perform CHIME TEST 9A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located with junction block under driver's side instrument panel. See Figure . Gain access to junction block/BCM internal 23-pin connector. Go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition on. Operate left turn signal. Using a test light, probe internal connector terminal No. 20. If test light flashes, go to next step. If test light does not flash, replace junction block.
  3. Operate right turn signal. Move test light probe to terminal No. 21. If test light flashes, replace BCM. If test light does not flash, replace junction block.
