Component Inspection

- Turn "OFF" the Ignition Switch.
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn "ON" the Ignition Switch.
- Using a GDS, Clear DTC.
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode again.
- Are any DTCs present?
YES
- Replace it with a new ESP (ESC) and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, place the new ESP (ESC) and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Fault can be intermittent, caused by faulty ESP (ESC). Or, ESP (ESC) memory was not cleared after repair. go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
