Inspection Procedure

  1. DELETE DTC AND ALL PRESENTLY AVAILABLE KEYS TO CHECK WHETHER ENGINE STARTS OR NOT 

    HINT:

    When inserting the key that does not start the engine, DTC (B2795) is stored in memory.

    1. Delete the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR  ).
    2. Insert all the presently keys to check whether the engine starts or not.

      OK: All keys start engine. 

      HINT:

      If the result is OK, confirm whether or not customer has inserted the unregistered key or the immobilizer key (with transponder chip) of the other vehicle in the ignition key cylinder, and find out the cause of detecting DTC.

    1. NG: NO PROBLEM 
    2. OK: REGISTER KEY THAT DOES NOT START ENGINE
