  1. READ DATA LIST 

    HINT:

    Using the Intelligent tester or Techstream to read the Data List allows the values or states of switches, sensors, actuators and other items to be read without removing any parts. This non-intrusive inspection can be very useful because intermittent conditions or signals may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed Reading the Data List information early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time

    NOTE: In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.
    1. Turn the power switch OFF.
    2. Connect the Intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3
    3. Turn the power switch ON (READY)
    4. Turn the tester ON
    5. Enter the following menus (Front active stabilizer)
      1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / CHASSIS / F STABILIZER / DATA LIST.
      2. Techstream - Select. Chassis / Front Stabilizer / Data List
    6. Read the DATA LIST by following the directions on the tester screen.

  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST 

    HINT:

    Using the Intelligent tester or Techstream to perform Active Tests allows relays, VSVs, actuators and other items to be operated without removing any parts This non-intrusive functional inspection can be very useful because intermittent operation may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Performing Active Tests early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time Data List information can be displayed while performing Active Tests.

    1. Turn the power switch OFF.
    2. Connect the Intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3
    3. Turn the power switch ON (READY) and turn the tester ON.
    4. Enter the following menus (Front active stabilizer):
      1. Intelligent tester - Select. DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / CHASSIS / F STABILIZER / ACTIVE TEST.
      2. Techstream - Select: Chassis / Front Stabilizer / Active Test.
    5. Perform the ACTIVE TEST by following the prompts on the tester.
      1. Intelligent tester

        F STABILIZER

        If operation is prohibited through fail-safe control, Active Test cannot be performed
      2. Techstream

        Front Stabilizer

        If operation is prohibited through fail-safe control, Active Test cannot be performed
        NOTE: During the Active Test, do not drive the vehicle.

        HINT:

        If the Active Test cannot be performed, check for DTCs (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR  ). If test mode DTC C194F and/or C1950 are output, refer to the appropriate flowchart (see DTC C194F OPERATION OF STATIC TEST MODE IS INCOMPLETE (TEST MODE DTC); DTC C1950 FRONT STABILIZER TARGET ANGLE NOT ATTAINED (TEST MODE DTC); DTC C1951 REAR STABILIZER TARGET ANGLE NOT ATTAINED (TEST MODE DTC)  ).

    6. Enter the following menus (Rear active stabilizer):
      1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / CHASSIS / R STABILIZER / ACTIVE TEST.
      2. Techstream - Select Chassis / Rear Stabilizer / Active Test
    7. Perform the ACTIVE TEST by following the prompts on the tester.
      1. Intelligent tester

        R STABILIZER
