Operation Check

  1. FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR FUNCTION INSPECTION 
    1. Turn the power switch OFF.
    2. Connect the Intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3
    3. Turn the power switch ON (READY) and the tester ON
    4. Follow the tester screen's display and perform the front active stabilizer Active Test.

      HINT:

      If the Active Test cannot be performed, check for DTCs (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR  ) If test mode DTC C194F and/or C1950 are output, refer to the appropriate flowchart (see DTC C194F OPERATION OF STATIC TEST MODE IS INCOMPLETE (TEST MODE DTC); DTC C1950 FRONT STABILIZER TARGET ANGLE NOT ATTAINED (TEST MODE DTC); DTC C1951 REAR STABILIZER TARGET ANGLE NOT ATTAINED (TEST MODE DTC)  ).

    5. During the Active Test, check that the front active stabilizer operates.
      NOTE: During the Active Test, do not drive the vehicle.
      1. Intelligent tester

        1. Vehicle front tilts to left side
        2. Above position is maintained
        3. Vehicle returns to original position
        4. Vehicle front tilts to right side
        5. Above position is maintained
        6. Vehicle returns to original position
        If operation is prohibited through fail-safe control, Active Test cannot be performed
      2. Techstream

        Front Stabilizer 

        TESTER DISPLAY CHART

        Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note
        Stabilizer Check Forced operation of front active stabilizer control actuator When turned ON, 1 to 6 below are performed in 1 sec intervals
        1. Vehicle front tilts to left side
        2. Above position is maintained
        3. Vehicle returns to original position
        4. Vehicle front tilts to right side
        5. Above position is maintained
        6. Vehicle returns to original position
        If operation is prohibited through fail-safe control, Active Test cannot be performed

        OK: Front active stabilizer operates 

  2. REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR FUNCTION INSPECTION 
    1. Turn the power switch OFF
    2. Connect the Intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3
    3. Turn the power switch ON (READY) and the tester ON.
    4. Follow the tester screen's display and perform the rear active stabilizer Active Test.

      HINT:

      If the Active Test cannot be performed, check for DTCs (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR  ). If test mode DTC C194F and/or C1951 are output, refer to the appropriate flowchart (see DTC C194F OPERATION OF STATIC TEST MODE IS INCOMPLETE (TEST MODE DTC); DTC C1950 FRONT STABILIZER TARGET ANGLE NOT ATTAINED (TEST MODE DTC); DTC C1951 REAR STABILIZER TARGET ANGLE NOT ATTAINED (TEST MODE DTC)  ).

    5. During the Active Test, check that the rear active stabilizer operates.
      NOTE: During the Active Test, do not drive the vehicle.
