DESCRIPTION

The primary, secondary and emergency keys for the 1995 Millenia are unique "center cut" keys. Lost keys must be replaced through coordination with the dealer and Tokai Rika, USA (TRUSA).

The following information details the procedures for key replacement and provides options for key delivery. Use these instructions for assisting customers with key delivery.

KEY IDENTIFICATION

Tokia Rika supplies Mazda with three (3) Millenia type keys.

  1. Primary Key (2 per vehicle) - Operates all locks and vehicle ignition.
  2. Secondary Key (Valet) (1 per vehicle) - Operates only the doors and the vehicle ignition. This key will not open locked glove box or trunk.
  3. Emergency Key (1 per vehicle) - Operates the same as the primary key, the material is aluminum. This key fits into the credit card pockets of a billfold.

SERVICE HOURS

Tokai Rika offices are open during regular business hours (Mon. - Fri.) and 10:00am - 2pm EST on Saturday. Saturday hours allow dealers to place orders needed by Monday.

PLACING ORDERS

Tokia Rika cuts keys based on the instructions found on order forms. This form identifies key type, quantity, key code and dealer shipping and billing information. To maximize owner security, ONLY authorized Mazda dealers may place orders.

NOTE: Owners contacting Tokia Rika directly will be referred to the nearest Mazda dealership.

ORDER INFORMATION

Confirmation is sent from Tokia Rika after receiving your order.

NOTE: If confirmation is not received within 24 hours, call Tokia Rika at (616) 966-0512 9am to 5pm (Mon. - Fri.), 10am to 2pm (EST) (Sat).

DELIVERY

Based on the customer urgency, the following delivery options are available.

STANDARD DELIVERY

  • Cost - $5.00 each
  • Orders received by 6pm (Mon. - Fri.) arrive within two (2) business days.
  • Orders received after 6pm (Mon. - Fri.) ship the next business day.
  • Saturday orders ship Monday.

EMERGENCY ORDERS

Tokai Rika will ship emergency orders via UPS (Next Day Air) on the day they receive the order.

NOTE: Tokai Rika will contact the dealership to discuss delivery options if the order was received too late for UPS pick-up. The delivery option will be the dealers decision.
  • Cost - $10.00 (Next Day), $18.00 (Saturday), $25.50 (for Monday delivery if the order is sent on Saturday).
  • Faxed emergency orders received Friday must indicate the delivery option (i.e. Saturday or Monday). If the order does not indicate the delivery option, (due to the expense of Saturday delivery) a Tokai Rika representative will contact the dealer for clarification.
  • Tokai Rika offers delivery directly to the owner.

SAME DAY SERVICE

Same day delivery is available to all areas of the country. Rates and service vary by shipper. A Tokai Rika representative will discuss this option.

NOTE: To maximize owner security, Millenia owners must be positively identified by the dealership personnel on all key orders. Direct delivery to the owner is not available with this option.
  • Available to airports offering "DELTA DASH" and "UNITED EXPRESS" services.
  • A dealership representative must receive the package at the airport.
  • Approximate cost is $52.00.
  • Average delivery time is six (6) hours.

BILLING AND COSTS

Charges for keys are processed through the dealer parts account.
