Combination Switch Removal/Installation
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the driver-side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] or DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
- Remove the steering wheel. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the clock spring. (See CLOCK SPRING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in Fig 1.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
