Keyless Control Module Removal/Installation [Advanced Keyless System]
NOTE:
- If the keyless control module is replaced, always perform the following procedure.
Without immobilizer system
- Card key programming (See CLEARING CARD KEY [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM] .)
- Steering lock unit programming (See STEERING LOCK UNIT ID CODE REGISTRATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM] .)
With immobilizer system
- Card key programming (See CLEARING CARD KEY [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM] .)
- Steering lock unit programming (See STEERING LOCK UNIT ID CODE REGISTRATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM] .)
- Immobilizer system resetting (with immobilizer system) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM] .) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING [KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM] .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the dashboard undercover (Driver side). (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the auto light/wiper control module. (Vehicles with auto light/wiper system) (See AUTO LIGHT/WIPER CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the auto light-off control module. (Vehicles without auto light/wiper system) (See AUTO LIGHT-OFF CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table. '
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
