Resistance Inspection: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the boost air temperature sensor. (See BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Place the detection part of the boost air temperature sensor in the water and while gradually increasing the water temperature, measure the resistance between boost air temperature sensor terminals A and B.

If not as specified, replace the boost air temperature sensor. (See BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
