Airflow Mode Main Link Installation
- Move the front airflow mode links to the positions shown in the figure.
- Install the airflow mode main link in the direction shown in the figure.
- Move the airflow mode main link in the direction shown in the figure and verify that it rotates smoothly.
- Align airflow mode link tab A of the cover with the link groove on the airflow mode main link side, airflow mode link tab B of the cover with the link groove on the front A/C unit side as shown in the figure, and install the cover.NOTE:
- The airflow mode main link is not secured, therefore hold it with your hand so that it does not detach.
- Verify that the airflow mode link tabs are engaged with the link grooves.
- Install the screws.
- Align the airflow mode main link shaft with the shape of the front airflow mode actuator hole, and install the front airflow mode actuator.
- Install the screws.
- Connect the connector.
- Install the clip.
- Install the following parts:
- Passenger-side front heat duct (See FRONT HEAT DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side lower panel (See PASSENGER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Driver-side lower panel (See DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Fuel-filler lid opener lever (See FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER AND LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Hood release lever (See HOOD RELEASE LEVER AND RELEASE CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Dashboard under cover (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front console (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Selector lever knob (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
