General
With the door center panel heating function, the door center panels in the front and rear doors are heated, depending on the model and equipment. The heated parts of the door center panels are in the area of the door trim above the armrest of the respective door. The control unit of the respective door takes over the heating control.
Function requirement
- Heat heater coded
Manual switching on and off:
Heating of the door center panels occurs only in combination with the armrest and seat heating. It is operated via the seat climate control switch group in the doors. The heating output can be adjusted to 3 different levels of intensity (100/65/35 % output). Monitoring of the door center panel heating occurs via the temperature sensors in the respective heating element.
The door center panel heating function can be configured via the multimedia system. The signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) saves the selected settings.
Time-controlled switch-off
The time-controlled switch-off of the door center panel heating occurs together with the time-controlled switch-off of the armrest and seat heating.
