Fuel Tank Temperature Sensor Check

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly (Refer to REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ).
  2. Remove the inspection lid.

  3. Disconnect the fuel pump module connector.

  4. Measure the resistance between connector terminals No. 1 and No. 3 of the fuel pump module (incorporating fuel tank temperature sensor).

    Standard value: 0.43 - 12.3 kΩ [at -10 - 70°C (14 - 158°F)] 

  5. If not within the standard value, replace the fuel level sensor and fuel tank temperature sensor (Refer to < FUEL PUMP MODULE >  ).
  6. Connect the fuel pump module connector.
  7. Install the inspection lid.
  8. Install the rear seat cushion assembly (Refer to REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ).
