Current Codes Using Consult Tester

- Connect CONSULT tester to Data Link Connector (DLC), located under left side of instrument panel. See Fig 1 . Turn ignition on. Touch START on CONSULT tester. Touch AIR BAG. Touch SELF-DIAG (CURRENT).
- If any problems are present, message will be displayed in SELF-DIAG (CURRENT) mode. Compare displayed messages to present fault messages. See PRESENT FAULT MESSAGES . If no malfunctions are detected in SELF-DIAG (CURRENT) mode, previous malfunction may not have been erased or an intermittent condition may exist. Go to INTERMITTENT CODES USING CONSULT TESTER .
