Individual Window Switch Operation
When the ignition switch is in the RUN position, battery voltage from the PWR WDO circuit breaker is applied to terminal A (PNK wire; 76) of the window switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . When the UP switch in the window switch is operated, battery voltage is applied to the appropriate window motor through the DK BLU (666, 668 or 670) wire. The motor is grounded through the BRN (667, 669 or 671) wire, the DN contact in the window switch, the TAN/WHT or TAN (167), PPL (169) or PPL/WHT (171) wire and the DN contact in the master power window switch assembly. The motor runs to drive the window up.
When the DN switch in the window switch is operated, battery voltage is applied to the appropriate window motor in the opposite direction through the BRN (667, 669 or 671) wire. The motor is grounded through the DK BLU (666, 668 or 670) wire, the UP contact in the window switch, the DK BLU/WHT (166), DK GRN (168) or LT GRN (170) wire and the UP contact in the master power window switch assembly. The motor runs to drive the window down. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
