Master Window Switch Operation

When the ignition switch is in RUN, battery voltage is applied to the master power window switch assembly through the PWR WDO circuit breaker and the PNK (76) wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .

When the left power window UP switch is operated, battery voltage is applied to the left window motor through the DK BLU (164) wire. The window motor is grounded through the BRN (165) wire and the window switch DN contact. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . The motor runs to drive the window up. When the DN switch is operated, battery voltage is applied to the window motor in the opposite direction through the BRN (165) wire. The window motor is grounded through the DK BLU (164) wire and the window switch UP contact. The motor runs to drive the window down.
