Preliminary Procedure  Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT . Remove the engine shield. Refer to ENGINE SHIELD REPLACEMENT . Drain the cooling system. Refer to WATER OUTLET REPLACEMENT (LAU/A28NER) . Remove the water outlet pipe. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE . Support the engine using the CH-49290  centering adapter.

CH 49290  Centering Adapter Engine Subframe
1	Engine Mount Fastener (Qty: 3) Refer to FASTENER CAUTION . Tighten  50 Nm (37 lb ft) and additional 60 to 75 degrees
2	Engine Mount Fastener (Qty: 3) Tighten  65 Nm (48 lb ft)
