Outback Model

Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Remove the screws and remove the license plate light.

NOTE:
When removing the license plate light assembly harness, remove the following parts.
- Rear gate garnish: Refer to REMOVAL .
- Rear gate opener button: Refer to REMOVAL .
- Rear lock button (model with keyless access): Refer to REMOVAL .
- Rear exterior antenna connector (model with keyless access): Refer to REAR ANTENNA .
