Sunroof Assembly: Installation

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
For installation of the stereo camera cover assembly, refer to "INSTALLATION", "Stereo Camera" in the "EyeSight" service information and observe the precautions for installation. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA>INSTALLATION .
Be careful not to snag the harness.

Install the tube drain.
Install the sunroof assembly.
Tightening torque:

Refer to "COMPONENT" of "General Description" for the tightening torque. Ref. to SUNROOF/T-TOP/CONVERTIBLE TOP (SUNROOF)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT .
Install the lid assembly front and the lid assembly rear. Ref. to SUNROOF/T-TOP/CONVERTIBLE TOP (SUNROOF)>GLASS LID>INSTALLATION .
Install the bolt which secures the curtain airbag module.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

Connect the tube drain.

CAUTION: Insert the tube drain until it contacts the end of drain pipe.

Check for the water leakage for each part and if there is no problem install the following parts.
- Front side
  - Mud guard front
  - Panel instrument passenger
  - Cover LWR driver
- Rear side
  - Bumper face rear
Install the trim panel sub assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>ROOF TRIM>INSTALLATION .
Remove the stereo camera cover assembly. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Perform reinitialization.
- Motor assembly lid: Ref. to SUNROOF/T-TOP/CONVERTIBLE TOP (SUNROOF)>SUNROOF CONTROL SYSTEM OPERATION>REINITIALIZATION OF GLASS ROOF CONTROL MODULE .
- Motor assembly shade: Ref. to SUNROOF/T-TOP/CONVERTIBLE TOP (SUNROOF)>SUNROOF CONTROL SYSTEM>OPERATION>REINITIALIZATION OF SHADE CONTROL MODULE .
