After Learning
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Start the engine and wait for 4 seconds or more.
- Make sure that the power steering warning light goes off.
- Using Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [Power Steering] to check that C254E is not detected. Ref. to POWER STEERING (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
- Turn the steering wheel until it locks. (Both left and right side)
- Make sure that reaction force increases as approaching the lock position.
CAUTION:
If there is a difference between the right-turn and left-turn steering in step 6, perform the learning procedure from step 1. Ref. to POWER STEERING (DIAGNOSTICS)>INSPECTION MODE>PROCEDURE>INSPECTION MODE B>LEARNING PROCEDURE .
