Front Brake Speed Sensor: Installation

Install Speed Sensor
1. Install the speed sensor to the steering knuckle.

  Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in..lbf)
2. Install the resin clip and clamp bolt holding the sensor harness to the body.
  Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in..lbf)
3. Install the speed sensor harness clamp, flexible hose and bolt to the shock absorber.
  Torque: 29 N.m (300 kgf.cm, 21 ft.lbf)
Install Speed Sensor Connector
1. Connect the speed sensor connector.

2. Install the fender liner.
Check Speed Sensor Signal
1. For Anti-Lock Brake system, see step 2 under PRE-CHECK .
2. For ABS & Traction Control system, see 2 under PRE-CHECK .
