Inspection Procedure

  1. Check ECU-ACC, DOOR No. 1, DOOR No. 2, ECU-IG No. 2, ECU-B and DCC fuse. 

    CHECK: 

    Check continuity of ECU-ACC, DOOR No. 1, DOOR No. 2, ECU-IG No. 2, ECU-B and DCC fuse.

    OK: Continuity 

    NG: Replace the failure fuse. 

    OK: Go to next step. 

  2. Check voltage between terminals ACC, B, BDR 1, BDR 2, SIG and GND or GND2 of Body ECU connector. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Turn ignition switch ON.

    CHECK: 

    Measure voltage between terminals ACC, SIG, BDR 1, and GND, GND2.

    OK: Voltage: 10-14V 

    PREPARATION: 

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect the Body ECU connector.

    CHECK: 

    Measure voltage between terminals B, BDR 2, BSUB and GND, GND2.

    OK: Voltage: 10-14V 

    OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ). 

    NG: Go to next step. 

  3. Check wire harness and connector between Body ECU and body ground (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 

    NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 

    OK: Check and repair wire harness and connector between Body ECU and battery (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ).
