Transfer Assembly: Installation

  1. INSTALL TRANSFER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the transfer to the transaxle with the 6 nuts and 2 bolts.

      Torque: 69 N*m (700 kgf*cm, 51 ft.*lbf)

  2. REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET (For 2GR-FE) (see appropriate step(s) under  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. INSTALL REAR ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET (For 2AZ-FE) (see appropriate step(s) under  INSTALLATION  ) 
  4. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE 
    1. For 2GR-FE: Install the engine with automatic transaxle (see appropriate step(s) under INSTALLATION ).
    2. For 2AZ-FE: Install the engine with automatic transaxle (see appropriate step(s) under INSTALLATION ).
  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
