Lock Function, Replacing: Installing

Lubricate the lower section of the push rod and spring with grease 1161417-9. Install spring and push rod (4). Press down push rod and install pawl (1) with new O-rings in the gear selector. Lubricate pawl segment with grease 1161417-9.

Install:

• Center console according to TRANSMISSION CABLE, REPLACING  .
• Gear selector knob according to GEAR SELECTOR KNOB, REPLACING  .
• Battery negative lead.

Set the clock and anti-theft radio code.
