Test B: Master Switch Test
- With ignition switch in RUN position, connect test lamp at the following master switch connector wires. Leave master switch connector connected. Operate left hand front window UP and DN from master switch.
- Connect test lamp between Dark Blue and Brown wires. The test lamp should light. If not, check for a poor connection. If OK, replace master switch.
- Operate right hand front window UP and DN from master switch. If all results are correct, and problem is with left hand front window, go to TEST D: WINDOW MOTOR TEST . For all other windows, go to TEST C: WINDOW SWITCH TEST .
- Connect test lamp between Dark Blue/White and Tan wires. The test lamp should light. If not, check for a poor connection. If OK, replace master switch.
- Operate left hand rear window UP and DN from master switch (if equipped). If all results are correct, and problem is with left hand front window, go to TEST D: WINDOW MOTOR TEST . For all other windows, go to TEST C: WINDOW SWITCH TEST .
- Connect test lamp between Dark Green and Purple wires. The test lamp should light. If not, check for a poor connection. If OK, replace master switch.
- Operate right hand rear window UP and DN from master switch (if equipped). If all results are correct, and problem is with left hand front window, go to TEST D: WINDOW MOTOR TEST . For all other windows, go to TEST C: WINDOW SWITCH TEST .
- Connect test lamp between Purple/White and Light Green wires. The test lamp should light. If not, check for a poor connection. If OK, replace master switch.
