Test C: Window Switch Test

  1. With ignition switch in RUN position, connect test lamp at the suspect window switch connector wires. Leave window switch connector disconnected.
  2. Connect test lamp between Pink wire and ground. The test lamp should light. If not, for Coupe models go to step 3 and for Sedan models go to step 4.
  3. Check Pink wire (Circuit 76) for an open or short to ground.
  4. Check Pink wire (Circuit 76) for an open or short to ground. If OK, go to TEST E: LOCK OUT SWITCH TEST  .
  5. On all models operate associated switch in master switch UP and DN. If results are correct, go to TEST D: WINDOW MOTOR TEST  .
  6. Connect test lamp between right hand front window switch connector terminals B and E (4-Door) or L and K (2-Door). The test lamp should light. If not, check wires from master switch for an open or short to ground.
  7. Connect test lamp between rear window switches connector terminals B and E on 4-Door models only.. The test lamp should light. If not, check wires from master switch for an open or short to ground.
