Test 24A, Stoplight Switch Input Test
NOTE:

- Turn ignition on. Press and release brake pedal while observing brakelights. If brakelights do not function properly, repair as necessary. If brakelights function properly, read stoplight switch I/O state using DRB-II. If DRB-II indicates stoplights are on, replace CAB. Perform TEST VER-1A . If DRB-II indicates stoplights are off, go to next step.
- Depress brake pedal. If DRB-II indicates stoplights are on, ABS is operating properly at this time. Perform TEST VER-1A . If DRB-II indicates stoplights are off, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect CAB 60-pin connector. Depress brake pedal. Select DRB-II voltmeter mode. See DRB-II VOLT/OHMMETER MODE under DRB-II TEST FUNCTIONS. Probe CAB connector terminal No. 13 (White/Tan wire). See Figure . If voltage is 9 volts or less, repair open in White/Tan wire. If voltage is more than 9 volts, replace CAB. After repairs are complete, perform TEST VER-1A .
