Inspection steps
- Reading of SSM4 data monitor (door lock position switch)
- On the SSM4, navigate to the [Data monitor] display, and check the computer data. (Refer to DATA MONITOR/ACTIVE TEST )
Criteria: The normal value on the data monitor is displayed properly.

- Unit inspection of the front door lock ASSY RH
- Remove the front door lock ASSY RH. (Refer to REMOVAL )
- Perform the unit inspection of the front door lock ASSY RH. (Refer to UNIT INSPECTION )
Criteria: The inspection result shows the normal status.
NG: Replacement of the front door lock ASSY RH (Refer to REMOVAL )
OK: Go to next step
- Inspection of the wiring harness and the connector (front door lock ASSY RH - main body ECM (multiplex network body computer) and chassis ground)NOTE: For inspection procedures and precautions, refer to SYMPTOM TABLE .
- Disconnect the connector F3 of the front door lock ASSY RH.
- Disconnect the connector D6 of the main body ECM (multiplex network body computer).
- Measure the resistance between the connector terminals on the vehicle wiring harness side.
Resistance

OK: Go to next step
Replacement of the main body ECM (multiplex network body computer) (Refer to REMOVAL )
- Unit inspection of the front door lock ASSY LH
- Remove the front door lock ASSY LH. (Refer to REMOVAL )
- Perform the unit inspection of the front door lock ASSY LH. (Refer to UNIT INSPECTION )
Criteria: The inspection result shows the normal status.
NG: Replacement of the front door lock ASSY LH (Refer to REMOVAL )
OK: Go to next step
- Inspection of the wiring harness and the connector (front door lock ASSY LH - main body ECM (multiplex network body computer) and chassis ground)NOTE: For inspection procedures and precautions, refer to SYMPTOM TABLE .
- Disconnect the connector E3 of the front door lock ASSY LH.
- Disconnect the connector D6 of the main body ECM (multiplex network body computer).
- Measure the resistance between the connector terminals on the vehicle wiring harness side.
