How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

• Use these procedures to troubleshoot the power tilt and power telescopic steering column.
• The hand-held tester should be used in steps  5 and  7.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORK SHOP 
   1. NEXT: Go to next step. 
2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND SYMPTOM CHECK (See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK   ) 
   1. NEXT: Go to next step. 
3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard: 11 to 14 V 

   If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace battery before proceeding.

   1. NEXT: Go to next step. 
4. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LARGE-SCALE MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (BEAN)
